Measuring our performance on cost, quality and patient experience

Per our participation agreement with the Qualcomm Premier Plans, all providers must adhere to specific quality and reporting standards. This helps ensure all plan members receive the superior care that sets the Qualcomm Premier network apart from other health care providers.

Required quality metrics

The quality measures for the Qualcomm Premier Plans fall into four categories:


  • Maternity Care
  • Acute and Chronic Care
  • Preventative Measures
  • Service


Benchmarks are set annually based on IHA benchmarks from the previous performance year.

Data collection and reporting

Scripps ACO collects and reports data on your behalf, from a variety of sources, including:


  • Claims data from UnitedHealthcare
  • Patient satisfaction surveys funded by Scripps ACO
  • Data from providers’ electronic health records
